RAVE REVIEWS

WHO ARE THE PALZ?

Performing Palz (the “Palz”) began in the 1980’s with two canine actors: Tora (an Akita) and Mocha (an American Cocker Spaniel). The name “Palz” came from the owner’s names, “Pat” and “Liz”.

Tora and Mocha, and all of the subsequent Palz, form the fur, paws, ears & tails behind “Paws for Responsibility". They are the “teachers” in our award-winning Responsible Pet Ownership program and the Pawsitive Reading program. In the spotlight now are: Dakota, Boz and Flirt (American Cocker Spaniels), Yogi (a Golden Retriever), and Tilly (an Australian Terrier).

These talented canines have made television appearances in short subject features, and have been guests on local television broadcasts, filmed commercials, posed for advertising, and are still showing on the nationally syndicated Animal Planet television show. First and foremost, they are our pets and companions.

OUR PROGRAMS
REACH MANY..
.

Every time the Palz perform, they offer more opportunities for their messages to be relayed to many more than their original audience. Because they use unusual feats (even puzzle solving, basketball playing, etc) to illustrate points in our programs, children can’t wait to share our messages with family and friends. And as they practice skills learned the children also build self-confidence and self-esteem.
